THE WAY OF LIFE

Not just a name.
An energy.

The kind of vibe that isn’t structured. Not curated, not caption-ready. Just full immersion, fun that doesn’t feel forced. So I started dreaming it into something real. Turning the vibe into a brand. A movement.

She Babaeu is not just a name, but an energy.

Then life got loud. Hustle, grind, post, perfect, repeat. I blinked and I was chasing $$$, tweaking funnels, and trying to look and do life just like everyone else , forgetting what actually matters.

I’m not a pro surfer, influencer or an anybody, So why was I trying to fix everyone and chasing perfection in a space that was never meant to be perfect, not even in myself?

I surf to forget. To feel light. To let it all go for a moment. You’ve heard of Blue Mind Theory? That stuff’s legit. Wallace J. Nichols proved what we already knew: water heals. It’s therapy, clarity, escape all rolled into one.

Truth is, we’re all chasing that feeling. That flicker of freedom when the world fades. She Babaeu is about finding that. For me. For you. For anyone who’s ever felt it.

This Isn’t Just Surf.
It’s Soul.

Surfing was never meant to be polished.

Surfing was never meant to be polished—it was raw, rebellious, and electric with creativity. We’re here to revive that untamed spirit, bringing back the rock & roll edge of the ‘60s and ‘70s, when surfers chased waves by day and lived wild by night. This isn’t about perfection; it’s about freedom, spontaneity, and a culture that feels alive again.

The Moment It Hit Me

She Babaeu was born on a dusty road, post-surf, beer in hand.

It kicked off on those sunbaked roads to Plomer, where post-surf froth met herby haze and sunset beers. COVID was raging, but we found our little pocket of freedom, nothing mattered but the ping pong scores and the feeling.

At Surfaris Crescent Head, the crew was always a line up of great characters, directors, filmmakers, fridgie’s and just downright salty legends. Anything became possible.

That’s how She Babaeu started. No pitch deck. Just a feeling. If you’ve ever cracked a tinnie after a paddle or danced in a towel, you already get it.
